Social Preview

Control the title, description, and image used by share previews and the contextual iOS handoff page.

Available metadata

The link stores a preview title, preview description, and preview image. Images uploaded through the authenticated form are stored by ZipQuantum and served through the preview-image route; the public creation flow can also submit a remote image URL.

Where it appears

The same metadata personalizes supported social previews and the neutral iOS deferred-link handoff. The destination hostname remains visible and cannot be replaced by custom copy, helping users verify where they are going.

Steps

  1. Set a concise, destination-specific title.
  2. Add a description that explains the next action.
  3. Use a public HTTPS image with an appropriate social-card ratio.
  4. Save the link and test both a private share and the iOS handoff.

Localization

The iOS handoff automatically localizes its interface in English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese, and Russian, including right-to-left layout for Arabic. Link-specific title and description remain exactly as configured.

Caching

Messaging and social platforms cache previews. Updating ZipQuantum does not force every third party to refresh immediately.

Get Started

Create your first ZipQuantum Smart Link in minutes — no proprietary SDK, no fingerprinting, and no attribution stack.

ZipQuantum links are install-aware by design.
They work before install, during install, and after install — using standard platform mechanisms only.

What You’ll Do Here

In this section, you’ll learn how to:

  • Create a Smart Link from the dashboard

  • Configure install-safe routing

  • Verify correct behavior across install states

No SDK integration is required.
No runtime interception.
No background services.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:
