QR Smart Codes
Turn the same editable production Smart Link into a standard or brand-ready QR code.
Current model
A QR Smart Code encodes the public Smart Link URL. Scanning the code therefore uses the same host validation, lifecycle rules, device detection, parameters, fallbacks, click count, and session analytics as a normal click.
Availability by plan
- Free: standard black-and-white QR style with the ZipQuantum logo included automatically.
- Eligible paid plans: replace the center logo, choose a square, rounded, or dotted style, and apply foreground and background brand colors.
These paid options are controlled independently by the plan capabilities configured by an administrator. The dashboard only shows the controls included in the active plan.
Customize in the dashboard
- Open Links and select QR for the Smart Link.
- If your plan allows it, choose the style and colors, then keep enough contrast for reliable scanning.
- Keep the ZipQuantum logo, remove it, or upload a PNG, JPEG, or WebP logo up to 1 MB when custom logos are included.
- Preview, download, and test the QR code on real iOS and Android devices before printing.
Important
Changing routing fields does not require reprinting if the encoded public URL remains unchanged. Changing the hostname or reference does require a new QR code. ZipQuantum validates color contrast and logo formats to protect scan reliability.
